Hakonechloa is a perennial grass producing mounds of bright green, yellow or green-yellow variegated leaves topped by airy sprays of green flowers in mid- to late summer. The leaves develop red-brown tints in autumn and persist into winter, when they die off.
- Great for planting with gravel and boulders, in borders or pots
- Low maintenance.
